IBM T41 Wireless

I have loaded this T41 laptop machine with Ubuntu and it works fine on the wire, but it is not detecting wireless networks. According to Hardinfo, the Cardbus is a Texas Instruments PCI4520. Is this a separate card on the motherboard?

How can I tell if its a driver or a hardware issue? Thanks for your input!

Maybe just is the problem of poor junction.
