    Dell Inspiron N5010 8 beeps continous cycle

    Dell inspiron N5010.no onboard display external display ok .
    starting logo & inside bios ok after that garbage in dos mode.

    is it gpu problem

      Ribbon cable damaged the 8 beeps no data return or just a faulty led

        its a gpu problem try to boot with another hdd and see wither the display is ok while going to windows.if u find any dots or colour problem with external then sure its a gpu failure.

          try a reflow if not change the lcd cable screen, test another screen , reflash the bios on external.
          go in windows if you like there are more basic stuff to do rather then just say its not working. HELP
          ok try another screen and another cable first the go for reflow.
          if you can do the reflow faster do it.
          Just cook it! It's already broken.

            I have couple of such problem, in which LVDS cable is culprit.

              just i cheked by replacing cable &screen also .same condition .reflowed gpu (moved littele bit ) no improvment
