Opening those displays may require a heat gun very tricky.I tried to save your original image and then upload it to Google Images and do a image search to see if any one has posted the same wires for the A1278, but it keeps telling me it is not a real image. Also, it might help if one knew what year it was made. You can always look into getting and external web cam that you attach to the top of the display.
Yes I know. As I said in the previous post if you read and see the information from the link I think it will help you to take your macbook pro screen apart. They are using special tools for cutting the adhesive. Information on the web has people taking the macbook pro screens apart with a heat gun which I think could cause great problems. I think the cutter and information in the link I provided would allow you to take the screen apart without the heat gun.
As I said I do not know the year your computer was made or even what processor you have in it. This link is a service manual of a macbook pro15inch which show one how to take things apart, connectors, Etc.
