Problem: Intermittent display (consistent)

What i've done so far: Trouble shot Software, Toruble shot Computer hard ware and determined that the tower was functioning correctly. Tried using a different PC RPG cable, problem persists.

The screen turns on as if working fine, than goes black.

Sounds like you may have a 2 second to black problem.
After the backlights go out does the front PLED still indicate a signal?
If you shine a light on the dark display can you see an image? [Some are very hard to see.]
A really neat article on 2 second to black is here. And also here. If you need help you are going to have to provide pictures, these need to be of the entire boards clear enough to read the writing on the PCB. With natural light, using managed attachments. And under 2000x2000 pixels
