Dell 2005FPW composite / s-video

So last week I purchased this monitor in hopes to use it to play ps2 via the composite connection and also to use as a 2nd monitor. There's no picture issues using the dvi and vga signals. However when using the s-video or the composite connections the picture would be somewhat noisy (see pics.)

Anyone own this monitor and is it normal to have this much noise using the s-video and or composite? If this isn't normal, could it be related to bad caps?
