Hi there anyone knows about Sony KDL-55EX640 power supply, I have a problem finding ZD904 Valu it shows on the Zener Diode NZ 13B is that mean 13V ?, Thanks to you Guys i was also looking for the Value of IC901, I have Ordered ICE2QR0665Z, Any help will be appreciated, Thanks

13v zener i think. as for ic901 number, should be same as my ic901 ice2qr0665z, was it too damaged to read the numbers off the chip?

i got my hands on another power supply dps-195ap-1.

surprise, there actually WERE two zener diodes in parallel in the original damaged location on my board.

i'll desolder them soon and see what values they are.

I got the IC 901 and replaced it and the Zener diod as well, But still don't have any volts on IC 901 what's the Value of IC 902, All I see on it is S101 / 1145, What is the Value of the IC please I have been researching online for days still couldn't find anything.

Thanks t4796 for the Replay i checked the Volts ou but i dont get any outputs 0Volts no 3.3v, i had open pin of t901 before i fixed it, now i have 14v on IC 901 but no Output any Idea what it might be causing no 3.3V, I have no standby light or any thing in panal nothing blinking, whats the Main volt should i look for 12 or 24 ? in which output ? THanks

Best I can do tonight.

IC601 = ICE2QS03G - Infineon
R605 = 69Y 5.11 ohm
R606 = 51D? 332k ohm?
R618 = 30B 2k ohm

R606 looks like 01S 10 ohm
R605 69Y 5 ohm
R618 30B 3K

It is a bit odd that other 10 ohm resistors are marked 01X like R601.

My mistake, R618 30B would be 2K.
R606 still bothers me. 10 ohms seems right for the Gate drive circuit. The puzzle is that other 10 ohm resistors are marked 01X
instead of 01S.

Extra: Maybe R606 should read 510 which would mean 51 ohms. This would make sense also because it is the ON drive current that usually becomes much higher that OFF drive current and needs to be scaled back. The Gate current tends to become asymmetrical when the the drive voltage is more that double the Gate plateau voltage.

I'm pretty sure of the values in my initial post apart from r606. I'll measure across those two parallel resistors/diode. The parallel figure of those two should confirm if it's 51D or 510.

It's 510 = 51 ohms.

Hi guys,
can anyone tell me about this component circled.?
I just managed to fix one these boards that had power surge but theres a hum when tv is on.
This component is short and need to replace it but there are no markings..thnx alot.

The part marked is a ferrite bead it will read short circuit

My further research alerted me to this.
The buzzing seems to be only audible when very close to the tv and the back is open.
So is it a fact that this buzzing is normal.?
Very happy with this one.
