Just had this one on the bench which was blowing mains fuses. Couldn't find any tech info on line for this model so I was hoping it was going to be something simple on the mains side.
Opening up showed a blow out on the two varistors which were connected across the two main caps and had gone s/cct. Luckily there was only cosmetic damage to the top of the board and none underneath, which was a relief.
Replacement and firing up with a bulb in series with the mains showed everything to be OK. Full mains power, and we were back in business.
A quick check around showed all the caps to be looking good and as everything appeared to be OK I didn't venture further. Getting to the amp section would have been a nightmare so I'm glad it all worked.
