best BIOS programmer on ebay

hello, i wanna buy a bios programmer on ebay, but there is many sockets like
DIP28, DIP32,DIP40 and SOP8/16 and no one have all of it.

so what is the most used BIOS sockets on DDR2/3 laptops?

It's called SOP8...You'll probably would need to buy DIP to SOP adapter as well cause it will save you some time...

also when ordering adapter make sure you get correct width..

sellers sell a norrow and wide version.

you will need wide version for laptop bios chips

im getting exactly this one, but from an italian dealer for about 60 euros complete with 8 adapter socket.

some china dealer doesnt ship to italy because of the big time for ship ... sometimes around 60 days and people ask for refund to paypal even if they get the object after 50 or more days.... that's a shame.

once i got a product after 65 days. dealer already shiped me another one.... and to be honest i payed for both

i use a cable like this

so it does not matter the size or the chip ofc it needs to be 8-pin SO8

Yep...that's cable above...totally forgot about it...saves even more time so you can flash on board and dont need to desolder...

i got the sp8-a today and was great. working just fine also with my pc (windows 8.1 pro 64bit. just finished programming an acer bios. greatly reccomended that bios programmer.
