    Nevco MPCW-6 Scoreboard controler

I'v been trying to identify a diode, The number is SG 68A, it does'nt appear to anything to fancy as a fast recovery seems to work for the 2 that are missing, Unit was dropped a year ago and just brought to me now, and the diodes that are missinng off the board are gone but all the diodes used in this have that number
The highest voltage in this unit is 9Volts
Looks like the logo is from General Semiconductor, now Vishay, I will search their site and see what I can find
Looks like SG is the series and 68a could be a date code?
    I think I found them

if it's from vishay then my databook says it's probably a TVS diode.
    p4sma68a / p6sma68a / 1.5smc68a
you can tell which by the size of the original - each of those is a different package.

    alternatlivly it could be a 400v 1 / 1.5a rectifier

Its not a tvs, its seems to be a s1g 1 amp 400volt but its got a peak one cycle surge of 30amps, Its used with 79m05g ic to boost the current for the display, without the diode the display is weak, with a diode in place the display is bright like it shoud be.
Looks like digikey might have it, the missing diodes are CR17 & 18, plus a torn trace that I fixed
      Thanks
