    vizio E320-A1 not working

I plug the tv in white light blinks lower left then goes out
I can push the power button and light will come on steady and stay on
    but nothing else happens
I have tested the power at out put plug and they match the stated voltages next to plug

I also have seen that they have problems with voltage regulators and to of them have an out put of 3.3 volts with a part number of 17-33
and according to data sheet I found it should be 3.3 v
one other slightly lager one part number 1234dg or 1084 has 3.2 volts out
connected to another one 912T63 that has 3.3 volts in and 1.19 volts out

is there anything else I can check or would it be easier to replace main board which I think is bad

    the video board is 715G5660-M0E-000-004K

    thanks for any help

Assuming your multimeter is accurate, both the readings above are out of specification and could be causing your problem. See

    https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=22231

    as to why.

      okay I have retested them

      1084
      1234DG
      pin 1 2.05 volts
      pin 2 3.3 volts
      pin 3 5.23 volts

connected to the out put of first one is

      0283
      912T63
      pin 1 ground
      pin 2 1.19 volts
      pin 3 3.3 volts

      25D
      17-33
      pin 1 ground
      pin 2 3.29 volts
      pin 3 5.25 volts

      25D
      17-33
      pin 1 ground
      pin 2 3.29 volts
      pin 3 5.23 volts

The above is correct. I was looking at the wrong datasheet. The correct one is

        https://cdn.badcaps-static.com/pdfs/...25e4855b99.pdf

which specifies it is a fixed 1.2V regulator.

        25D
        17-33
        pin 1 ground
        pin 2 3.29 volts
        pin 3 5.25 volts

        25D
        17-33
        pin 1 ground
        pin 2 3.29 volts
        pin 3 5.23 volts
The above two are good. When you reort just 3.2V it implies 3.200000V. Obviously, when you report 3.29, you can see what a difference it makes.

On the connector from power board to the main board, measure the DC voltages and report them like this.

            pin 1 = legend says 12V, I get 11.99V
            pin 2 = etc

              13 on/off 247.5 ohms to ground
12 Dim 6.78 ohms to ground
              11 +12v 12.38v

the pin 13 never seems to see any voltage not sure if it will at some point or not, same with the 12 pin for dim

Pin 13 is likely backlight on/off. If there is no voltage, the backlight will not come on. The main board controls this functionality.

Hookup a source (like a DVD player) and see if you have picture and/or sound.

there is no voltage on the pins 12 and 13

I also hooked up the TV to my cable box by way of the RCA audio and video plugs
and I have nothing no sound at all

Those two signals:bl_on (or ON/OFF) and the backlights dimming control are generated by the main board, that is why there is no backlights even though you have 24V feeding the inverter board. The PS_ON signal from main board is working otherwise you will not get the 24VDC for the inverter board. You will have to work on the main board next, I am not sure if this VIZIO series is one of those with the bad EEPROM pronblem or not.

this Vizio 32" has LED back-lighting. you need to upload pictures of the power supply and LED driver board section.
