With this information it is possible to see anything wrong ? I attached a picture of the board too.

Looks like LVDS/format fault, possibly main board. Maybe a little too sharp to be gamma. Hard to tell. Voltages will tell you where fault is.

So yep, another gamma fault right there. You can see that spike in the middle causing a world of hurt. You should replace the t-con or the gamma chip, replacing the gamma chip will require good SMD soldering skills.

So that's quite a few this week, amazing how many are failing.

My Sony Bravia KDL-40Z4100 failed a few weeks ago with this same problem. I replaced the AS15G this past weekend and it solved the problem. My set was manufactured in July of 2008 and the failed AS15 had a 2008 date code, the same as the one in guilhermemt's TCON photo.

It would be interesting to know how many of the AS15 chips that are failing now were manufactured in 2008.

i will have to find someone to do it for me. After that I 'll tell you.

But, one more question: how do I know that the measurements/voltages that I took aren't fine ? Is there any place where I can find the correct patterns ?

With this spreadheet is easier to understand!

When I answer 22 on the 1st spreadsheet (How Many?) the cell I1 shows ####. If I consider only 18 as the model, it shows FAIL.

Anyway, in detailed results is possible to see that something is missing.

I also noticed that in Detailed Results Spreadsheet, the cells B21 and B22 cotains the same value =$Input.B16 . Is it normal ?

At other cells the value is always the last cell.

That was the bug I just fixed right now, see above.
With an incremental decrease from 16V to 0.01V, it should show "PASS".

I have a Sony KDL-40Z4100/S . It has the white screen that winwin92 posted.

What do you all suggest? I really love this tv.
