Bad caps on linksys WRT330n wireless routers

I have 2 of theses "gaming" wireless routers, and both have failed in the same way. They power on fine, and work fine for a few minutes, and then they stop responding.

On both of them, the culprit was a bad Hermei 470uF capacitor. They were both bulged, no leaking or anything. I replaced them with caps I scavenged from an old motorola DSL modem, and they work great now.

The new cap is circled, it is a 25 volt 470uF TEAPO, the old cap is the 10v hermei

dont replace crap with more crap- teapo=bad (unless its in a power supply). try to stick to pannys, rubys, sanyos, samxons, nichicons (not hm/hn), and chemicons (nippon/united)

still, shame for linksys to have those in its products- you pay more for them and they are supposed to be top of the line, not bottom bucket s***
