Re: hitachi 42pd9r10 dead
Well--Whatever you do--Dont waste dosh on it!
Every one of these Ive seen--Inc the Philips that used the same panel/chassis had a clapped out/cruddy PDP giving awful mal-discharge and nasty green fringing on fleshtones...
Fujitsu/Hitachi used a low voltage PDP (65V Vs,--everyone else uses around 180-220v) with poor aging characteristics...
Orrible bloody things, I don't bother with them anymore...TELEFIX
How PLASMA SCREENS WORK, X-SUS and Y-SUS what they do--

Re: hitachi 42pd9r10 dead
Have you checked the white ceramic fuse on the board along side the connector or even the fuse in the 13Amp plug?
Edit
Just reread your first post in which you say you have checked both fuses.
Have you checked the On/Off switch to see if it has gone open circuitLast edited by dick_barton; 03-14-2016, 05:47 PM.Willing to help but I'm no expert.
