    Samsung Monitor

    Hello,
    can anyone detect if there is any bad cap because my monitor turns off every 2 seconds and I was thinking if there is any bad cap?

    Please can you edot the post /delete the images and repost them using the manage attachments button, which is found by clicking "go advanced" under quick reply.

    Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.
    Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

      Sorry! As you can see this is my first post.
      I wont do this anymore, but can I let the post as it is this time because my internet connection is very slow and I cant upload images again.

            I always replace C201 C202 1000uF 16V caps, and C209 470uF 25V
            C203 is 330uF 25V cap

              I cant see any bulged or leaking caps but that doesnt mean they are still good.
              You mayhave 2 seconds to Black which could be for many reasons.

              When the monitor "goes off" does the power led stay lit?

              Can you see a very dark image on the screen - may help if you have a vivid picture on the PC and shine a flashlight at different angles.

              One thing to test is the Inverter transformer/s

              Set meter to 2000 ohms and measure S1>S2 and S3>S4 as on the attached pic and post results.
