no bad sounds from harddisk.i connect via exteranal.. but not showing drivers

What do you mean by external? You are connecting the drive using a USB cable?
Is this a laptop or desktop?
If it's a desktop and it's a bare drive, much better to test it by opening the machine and hooking it up to a sata cable. Remember to connect the power to the drive too.
