please help identify this diode

im working through my tv power supply board and i found a diode which appears shorted.the best way i can describe the diode is clear glass/plastic with a single yellow band.i have tried taking pics but cannot focus in clear enough.

Doubt if there is a chance better to post a picture of the board it came from with a close up of where it is and the board designator ZD??? can you find a schematic?

There is no fixed marking agreed between manufacturers the yellow band just signifies cathode ( If I remember correctly)

thanks for your reply,on the board is just says.D830,however i de-soldered the diode then tested again, and it tested fine.

It may be connected in parallel with a low ohm resistor.
Make and Model of the TV?
