Works great for running old games.

I still have a bunch of old 486s and lower, but Dosbox is just to convenient to haul them out anymore.

eh, emulation is okay but many people prefer the real thing. Personally I didn't like the sound on dosbox, and it's too slow. My daily desktop doesn't let me use my old 15-pin joysticks either.

The convenience thing naturally depends how quickly and easily you can plug stuff in - if the board is already set up and you have a KVM then it's not much of an issue.
