Frustration that mini-jacks don't fit.

I'd just like to went a bit of frustration that mini-jacks have varying shape / size.

After replacing a headset connector twice they still don't fit the same way or as well as the original one.

Do you guys know if there is one that fits well in general (3 poles)? Or maybe it's the female connector on the phone that's off.

phone?? most phones are 4pole.
3pole will fit, but the 4th pin is used for extra stuff.

I took just one ear piece from an older gamer headset and replaced wire and 3 pole jack. I don't need the mic pole. It's for listening when I have my head on a pillow. Then I don't have lay on my back.

So now I can rest my head on the side and have that one ear piece on my head.
