T5/250-volt Fuses Please see photo fast or slow blow type

I have never seen a fuses with a color code stripes like this fuse has on it before
    Has anyone seen this before

It is on a CNC controller power supply board that I posted yesterday
    https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=60626

The fuse has the following on it
    T5/250V on the top

"S" in a circle then a heart shape with a line a cross the top of the heart with either a "S" or a "5" in the middle of the heart then it "NEW" and that all that is printed on the fuse

5000ma (5amp) Blue (wide band) Time Lag (TL) or T5 =time delay 5amp
Some Panasonic plasma tv power supplies used color coded fuses

Can you use any time delay fuse that is the right size or do you have to use the Panasonic type fuses

I don't think they specify a time, they are just slow blow so they can take a bit of a surge and not open. I believe that coding is for IEC
See page 54 of this PDF
They are not "Panasonic" fuses I only saw them there and in other power supplies

I know there's a IEC/DIN standard for color coding low voltage "car style" blade fuses but I don't think there's a color coding standard for glass cartridge fuses. Make sure you put the right one back in. I'm trying to find one for a sewing machine at Digikey and the fuse category has 22000+ fuses available, the good news is there are only 7300 glass cartridge fuses available.....

R_J - Thanks looks just like resistor color codes without divisors in milliamps.

See page 11 for 'S' symbol.
What you have may be High Interrupting rated type.

The CNC fans blowing coolant mist on PCB's is just gross. I found coolant (glycol) coated all the electronics and gave leakage currents (on a CNC I repaired). Highly recommend an IPA wash of the PCB and new conformal coating.

You can look at the fuse element - coils are slow-blow and single strand is fast acting; high interrupt is sand-filled.
The fuse looks like the input to a SMPS with soft-start relay/inrush resistor so I don't see anything special there, for that fuse.
I believe the "S" symbol is the regulatory approvals for Semko, but Budm is right it's prob. a stock Japanese fuse?

Ceramic (white) fuses I see for specialty semiconductor fast-acting ones.
