    Dead Okuma Power Supply see photo

    This is in a CNC machine it will not power ON
    However it powered ON yesterday with no problem
    My guess is that one or more caps are probably bad but I have not checked them yet
    But what concerns me is that some of the diodes are very discolor
    Which is one of first thing I am going to check and also maybe replace the switching IC chip

    Can anyone add to what else I should check

    I am going to do a complete cap replacement on this board

    1 HP Printer Supply & Control Board * lighting finished it *


    These two repairs where found with a ESR meter...> Temp at 50*F then at 90*F the ESR reading more than 10%

    1 Over Head Crane Current Sensing Board ( VFD Failure Five Years Later )
    2 Hem Saw Computer Stack Board

    All of these had CAPs POOF
    All of the mosfet that are taken out by bad caps

    is there a black resistor too? R2 something on the left of the diode? See if that cap leaked next to it.
