Recapping Servo Power Driver Board Error Over Current

First I check the 39uf@25 volt cap ----> new cap ESR 0.38
The first (4) ESR reading 9.3 , 9.4 , 9.6 all the rest over 99 no reading
All the other cap the ESR reading are some what off of what they should be will replace all caps

There some 4.7 caps that are black with a white strip they smc chip but they are thought hole mount where do I find these cap

Are you talking about the SMD? Or through hole type which I do not see in the picture?
Those are Tantalum, the white bar is POSITIVE, you can get them from DIGIKEY. Just have to search for them.

Are you talking about the SMD? Yes they are through hole type which look like SMD

Those are the ones that I am talking about

I do not what type they are just know that they are some type of cap

Tantalums don't tend to fail that much and when they do they explode most of the time

Depending on the circumstances.
Louis Rossmann mentions that one tantalum in some Apple Designs (2011 Macbook Pro??) fail regularly - so a fix is to replace the tantalum capacitor with non tantalum ones...

You have to treat the tantalums right -> too much current they really do not like at all....

C102 in SAMSUNG main boards also fail a lot too.

So could I use a FC or FR in it places I think that the only caps that 4.7uf come in I normally use KY , KZE or I think the other one is a LXY or LZX

I was just saying, because you see a looooot more damaged electrolytics and even some solid caps than tantalums, not saying that they can't die, they all can, just that they are a bit more reliable most of the time
Ky is a very reliable series and I don't think you should have trouble with them

I check them with the ESR meter and the value are all over the place no two has the same reading that why I want to change all of the 4.7 caps

Did you take that reading off the board? They have 20% to play around. But why don't you just change them?

The caps that I remove that are 4.7uf the ESR Reading were 0.55 to 1.6

Yes I did replace all of those caps with the FC Panny caps
