hi all,got a Digimate L-2231wd lcd monitor and for approx 30min works fine.
After this time,the screen will flash white only for a fraction of a second(strobe-like).
Then all is well again until the next flash.
They start out approx 1-2 min apart but after the monitor has been on or 40min or so
the flashes are much more frequent,maybe 1-2 sec apart.
if the monitor is switched off,then back on again, the flashes slow down for a couple of minutes
then back to 3-4 seconds apart.
The monitor has a Emax e59670 power/inverter board.There were a few bulging caps which i replaced
but this has not had any effect on the problem.
I have noticed that when the flashing starts,the area around the power/inverter board gets very hot,
much hotter than any other monitors i have.
Could this be a heat related problem ?
I do not know what to look for/inspect next.
Any help greatly appreciated.
