    HP DV9000 again

    So im thinking to make xtra fan for gpu and it does fit under the chassis&bottom case ..dc5 v 0.19 amps but witch is the best way the to get that 5v?can i connect to original fan?i doubt that..

        You can also use the 5V output on the SATA connector, either for the optical drive or the HDD. I did that when modifying the fan on my Toshiba satellite A200.
        I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

        No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards
