it ask for a password when turned on part of toshiba security
toshiba want £60 to give me code but laptop aint worth that much it is only for grandaughter to play with.
1. At the BIOS password prompt ("PASSWORD = "), press and release the following keys, one after another:
Ctrl, Tab, Ctrl, Enter
The computer's response should be:
PC Serial No.= XXXXXXXXX
Challenge Code= XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX
Response Code=
2. Get response code from your local toshiba support center
Then follow the instructions the support guy will give you to unlock the laptop
the code changes every time you reboot it btw
