Install Netgear wireless card on server 03

My friend has that wireless card, he has no option of lan, so he has to use it. He just got a newer computer and we put server 2003 on it. And of coarse these drivers don't like to install server.

Is there any way I can manually install the drivers?

Find out which version you have. They are Atheros AR5213 or 5212 from a quick search. Download a generic driver and force it. I'm using RT2500 drivers on my linksys branded card.

Well, we tried a older version of the software and it works.

Now server is doing its stupid thing with it's super security on IE, and you when you try to change it in internet options to medium, the slider snaps back to high

Off to get the FF installer.

Uninstall high security IE configuration and disable the shutdown event tracker.

Get a better card. Server 2003 is basically the XP platform version.

Atheros is a sorry piece of shit, if there ever was one.
I had an Atheros wireless in a Toshiba laptop that refused to play well unless it was running under Vista.

try linux... there are lots of good server distros out there that like such cards
