Project Reebot but no: Philips 32PFL4507/F7 main board no where in sight.

So I kinda got busy over the holidays and put this little project on hold. based on my previous thread.

    Found here https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=58577

I've figured out i need a new main board because the power supply makes no sound when the main board is disconnected. Now sadly while i could get one for 40$ a few months prior i cant do that now. My option for repairing it myself seems to be restricted to a new EEPROM (link bellow). I think I am going to invest in a nice soldering station and try if it has a chance to fix it. I did a quick youtube and found a couple of examples that I am watching now. I don't want to get to far down the wrong path. Dose anyone have a video to suggest that would be closest to doing the operation on my current main board? An will it even help?

You might find this useful, although lots and lots of practise is the way forward. The techniques shown in this link I have found to work well in practise.
