Which software can i use to dump a bios with a working PC ?

If its not laptop, but PC, some motherboards can be dumped using flashrom under linux.
That type of bios / motherboard do you have?

I am searching mostly for laptop, with desktop no need desolder on some.

Try to use attached tool, but AFAIK, it cannot save EC, only main BIOS.

note that it doesn`t work very well for all kind of laptops... dumping with programer is the best way...

This is what i thought, cause i don't see how can you dump using an app for a hardware reader/writer !

This is the hardware I use, although the clip I bought had been modified and I put a weaker spring in it. I only use it for chips off the board. The software I downloaded from this forum, I can provide a copy if you want.

Thanks Buddy,
but i already have a hardware reader/writer and even the same clip.
What i am trying to achieve, is to dump/read the bios on a working laptop, without the need of disassemble it.
