Asus X552L Only Work On Battery (need BoardView)

    Hello,
This asus with X550LD REV.2 Motherboard.
I don't get any 5V or 3.3V with charger, but if i use a charged battery, the Laptop works 100%.
I suspect that a Mosfet is dead, but without schematic or boardview it's difficult.
    Help guys

use asus ux31a2 schematic as reference.
almost all of asus give name for component always same at many board. the different was location/position of those on PCB.

charging chips look seem was BQ735, so acfet and rbfet are pq8801 and pq8802

try this jumper in the picture but make sure 19v is present on RHS of the jumper but absent on the LHS.

Well, your Mobo is not the same !
Anyway, i have tested your "bricolage", and i still don't get any voltage on the bios chip.
I guess that i will not risk turning it ON ...

EDIT: I have 3V on Power switch, i guess that i will take a chance !
Tell me, will this bricolage charge the battery ?

i am very sorry.JaroTech sent x550LD repair guide so i thought your mobo was the similar.
it wont charge the battery until you identify and replace faulty component (in my case 2 mosfets close to charging connector )

@passete, could you take a good picture of each side of the motherboard, so we can see what you have?

The first picture you posted is the good one, but your photo with the jumper soldered, doesn't have have discrete Nvidia chip.
Anyway, i went ahead and the mobo turns on and works with charger now, but like you said it doesn't charge.
Can you point on the first picture you posted, which mosfets do i need to replace ?

@jarotechn it's the same as the one first posted by maxnaruto

my macbook os x wont boot otherwise i would have sent you x550ld schematics to help you identify faulty component.

@passete please take note you need to check with schematics to identify which mosfet is leaking or which other component(battery charger ic , resistor ,capacitor etc) is faulty.i want to believe this problem is common on X550** mobo so perhaps changing the same component may solve the problem.(remember to disconnect jumper after replacing faulty component)

                                @maxnaruto,

I have an Asus laptop with x550ld board with no Power at all. I've tried the jumper between the two pins indicated and the laptop starts with green leds for a second, then shuts off.

Can you help me fixing It? Thanks!
