With PSU Disconnected from Y-SUS/Z-SUS, What readings (resistance) do you get, -first from VS connections of Y-SUS, then VA of Y-SUS to chassis? Also, Check fuses of both Y-SUS/Z-SUS boards.....

    --Same test for Z-SUS board...

What board is this mystery 10 ohm 5W resistor on?
    TELEFIX

How PLASMA SCREENS WORK, X-SUS and Y-SUS what they do--

The resistor is on the pfc/standby board. I replaced this resistor a few days ago as it was open circuit. Too much current killed it. I will check the resistance, thanks.

Hi, did you solve this problem. I have the same symptoms. Standby ok, but fails to bring up the Vs. Have already replaced that 10ohm,5W resistor on the standby board (was open) with a substitute as I couldn't find the original part locally. Measuring the PFC voltage at P217_2 connector and it reads about 325VDC momentarily when I hit the power button on the remote and the relays cut in for a second(compared to about 380VDC measured on a known working TV.

Does anyone have left over boards from this set?
