Default Toshiba satellite L40 bios problem

hi

I got one toshiba L40 got bios problem,stuck at checking Nvram 00A1,im still searching for the solution,hope anybody here can help.thanks

I have same problem. bios need to be flashed, but I didn't fix it yet. maybe some day

what method that can be use,same method with toshiba nb200,using a specific Phoenix tool. Crisis Bios Recovery?

have you tried removing the cmos battery and turn it on?

you remove mos battery run 5min.then resolder battery.try now.

remove bios chip from motherboard. find another laptop with same bios chip. boot that laptop to dos, remove bios chip, put bios chip from bad laptop, run bios flash utility, remove chip and put it back in first laptop

find another laptop with same bios chip.this one quiet hard to do,you have any suggestion of laptop model??

i got exact same problem with a L40 did you solve the problem ? Anyway tomorrow i'll fix it and write the solution. btw this bios is very difficult to desolder and solder while laptop is running.

re programmed the flash, and also i changed south.
