    Proving to be difficult for me :/

    Well We have a computer in our shop with bad bulging capacitors, This inst my first cap replacement job, but unlike the others, I cannot, for the life of me find a replacement anywhere :/

    If anyone has an idea where to find it, or find one that will work.

    By the way they are 8x25mm 6.3v 820uF 105 C and I need 6 of them. If it helps I can take a picture and post. Also the 8mm diameter will need to be the same because of room.

    What would help is if you updated your profile with country and mains voltage.

    Suggesting where to get something is pretty difficult without knowing where you are.

    If we assume electrolytic capacitors the following might do

        And those would work but one problem is that they are only 12mm, which is a huge difference to 25mm. And I also heard that the cap physical size either has to be the same or bigger.

          Cap size does NOT have to be the same or bigger. You can go up in voltage which usually means the cap is bigger, but there is no need. Stay with the same capacitance. You want to match ESR and ripple.

              So the forum page states the Ripple and ESR are only affected by can size, If can size is bigger then it has low ESR and High Ripple. So to find a capacitor that will work on my system board I have to find a Cap that is the same or bigger?

                Caps have advanced in the last few years. You can make a smaller physical size cap and still match the same ripple and ESR as the originals.

                Here is an example between Panasonic FR and FC series.

                Panasonic FR 820uF 6.3V, 8x11.5 mm, 56 mOhm, 950ma ripple

                Panasonic FC 820uF 6.3V, 8x15 mm, 85 mOhm, 730ma

                http://www.digikey.com/product-detai...0198-ND/266208

                So as you can see FR has less ESR and more ripple even though it is 3.5mm shorter than FC.

                So find out the original specifications for your existing caps and compare them to the replacements.

                    So the Caps Arrived, Thank you Badcaps
                    After replaced them I haven't run in to any problems So it looks to have worked perfectly fine. BTW I used the https://www.badcaps.net/store/produc...roducts_id=163 Caps. Thank you sooo much retiredcaps.
