Samsung UN55C8000 clicking noise

Hello fellow members!

I am having this problem with a Samsung 55'' LED 3D TV.

Red standby light stays on. when powering up the TV, there is a clicking noise. There is no backlight on the TV, just clicking. Already changed the mainboard (thought that was the problem, whoops.....) Can you guys help me out?

try unplugging the backlight circuit and see if it makes any difference? if not - also try unplugging the Tcon board and report back

From my experience, the power supply is tries to turn on but it senses the current . When a led fails it changes the current and the circuits will not let it turn and stay on.
