    VIDEOSEVEN L19WA Backlight Problem

    Hi,

So the backlight on this unit stopped working, i previously repaired a bunch of these units with bad caps but this time there was a diffrent problem.
The PSU/Inverter unit on this LCD is a Delta Electronics DAC-12M030 rev. 1F caps where ok and after some checks i noticed that there was never any power reaching OZ964GN, i traced the problem to transistor Q201 now my problem is identifying the thing it's a SMD transistor and has the following markings P13 V5 the V5 marking are like 90º rotated in reltion to the P13, can't seem to find any schematic of this board, any chance someone knows exactly what part this is?

    Thanks

      Re: VIDEOSEVEN L19WA Backlight Problem

      Hi,

Thx for the reply but i have some doubts the part you refer have a maximum input voltage of +10 to -40.
I have attached a picture of the board.
The lower right +14v are allways there as they come direct from the power section,
the top +14v i have measured on a good board and only appear when the signal for the
backlight is on from the digital control board.
Also on the other board the same transistor has a marking of 14 with 44 rotated 90º.
I have also updated my profile.

      Thx again for the help
