Acer Travelmate 4001 shutdown after powering on

hi all,

i have a laptop Acer travelmate 4001 which shutsdown after 3 seconds and the power button led is on , and the fan stop moving . no sounds ....nothing but the lit power led only . any suggested procedure for troubleshooting . the laptop is connected to adaptor -i removed the battery-
also i try to test the laptop without using the harddisk and ram . the problem still .

any help for this problem ?

Check for air flow thru vent. Laptops have a way of collecting carpet fibre and etc, between fan and radiator. Also you need to remove cpu heatsink and put new paste between heatsink and cpu.
