Sony Bravia KDL55EX500 Service Manual

I have a Bravia KDL-55EX500 which flashes 6 times, briefly shows the Sony logo, makes a buzzing sound (From an actual buzz speaker I believe), shuts off, then repeats one more time, then flashes 6 times.

Once I have more information I will post on here but for now I was just after a service manual to find out what the 6 flashes mean. From what I've read so far I believe it's an inverter board error.

Thanks guys. I ordered a new inverter board but I'm worried it won't fix the problem. I measured all the transformers with an ohm meter and usually the way I tell will be that one or two will give me different readings than others but every transformer was the same. I also measured all the test points for the over-current/protection circuits and got nothing. Even more confusing is that every transformer is outputting the same voltage (175v I believe). But I guess I won't know till I try it.

I may be wrong (frequently am) but ccfls usually require a start voltage
1500 to 2000 vAC there are not many multimeters that can cope with that
and there is always a chance of flash over - generally I would say never try to test the output of an inverter transformer without special equipment.

You can test the secondary winding resistances and compare those.

Please read the training manual, the board connected to the lamps is BALANCER board, the power supply-inverter board combo is the other board.
Similar setup to SAMSUNG.

This is exact video I used to test as I mentioned none of the points indicated over-current or a bad tube. But the problem is the TV is only on for about a second. So it's difficult to be sure maybe it just goes over as it turns off. Some of them have small differences but too minor to say that particular tube/transformer is bad.

Anybody got any other suggestions to test the inverter board? I have already ordered a new one but it will be a few days till it arrives.

I'm in the same boat with a 46EX400 with 2x blink error code.
Replaced two main board two power boards, even a T-con board and now the only thing left are the tubes or balancer board.
I have checked the transformers myself and didn't find anything out of ordinary.
I think that I will take apart the screen to see the tubes.
For me the 2x blink means bad power supply, but if I force the power supply to turn on I have all the voltages and the backlight it turns on too. So it's very confusing. With another mainboard the TV will work for a while, but then it's back to 2x error code.

Replacing D1 board resolved this for me.
