I have visually checked all caps on both boards and do not see any popped caps. Should I unseat each cap to check?

i would wait till budm has looked at your voltage readings and see what his opinion is as we said earlier sometimes mainboards are just as easy to swop out as some times the fault cant be found/repaired whats the mainboard part number?

how many voltage regs are on the board? ive just been looking on ebay the repair kits say 6 parts does not say what they are though.

The PS_ON (ON/OFF) is OK, But the main board is not sending any Inverter on, backlights dimmimg signals(either one analog and PWM is present).
But I am not sure about the AC DETECT and the Status signals as to what they should be.

cheers budm just been looking on line these boards are out of stock at most places the ones who have it are after stupid money as ive just said to daniel the repair kits has 6 parts in it does not say what they are though would a eeprom issue cause this fault?

BTW, I look at the bottom side of the board, only DIM, INVR_ON/OFF, and STATUS are used, the reast of the pins have no traces connected to them, so I would say the main board is bad but still like to verify that STATUS pin, it looks to be an output signal that is fed back to the main board.

There are 8-9 3pin regs on the mainboard. I checked on the ebay repair kit and it comes with 4 regs and 2 fuses(asked the seller) but doesn't say which ones.

So what tells the mainboard to send power back to inverter? (sorry for the dumb question.)

Now I have another one of these and its got the same main board problem as the other 2 I've fixed by replacing the main. Now I wonder after closely inspecting U14 eeprom, it looks like its really got hot? or something all the contacts look really unflowed. I reflowed it = nogo. SJ sells the chip for like 15$ could this be the contributing failure to this board? Guessing only one way to find out unless anyone has an update on this set? The main is really REALLY hard to come by. For a 47 inch set this model has a very good picture definitely worth fixing. Any updates would be appreciated. I'll be back after I get a chip and see if its the fix!
