Use the Nichicon HZ caps as they are a better brand than Samxon.
I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

Either of those would be better than the old Sacon caps.

Probably not an eVGA. I cannot recall seeing FZs on anything after the GeForce 7 series.

          But there's a good chance I could on 8400s!

The GeForce 8400 appears to be the worst new GPU in existence!

FZ is a series folks dread at badcaps.net!

FZs are from Sacon, a real bad cap brand!

eVGA 9600s, OTOH probably have Fujitsu caps or at least something far better!

XFX, Galaxy and others unfortunately probably still have them on 9600s.

Huh? There have been plenty of eVGA 8600GTs with busted sacon FZs on these forums.

              Sacon FZ = mini bomb

We need a pictorial on replacing these capacitors on video cards, we get so many of these - I think it would help everyone greatly.

8600 appears to be another crap model. Probably a higher clocked 8400.

8400 and 8600 are the exceptions, IIRC.

I can't believe they appear to possibly still be making those! Yikes!

Over at Computers by Ken, there was an eVGA GeForce 8400, IIRC, even for that one, I didn't see any FZs.

In fact they had FP caps, IIRC. It looks a lot like eVGA stopped using FZs before the 8 series.

I think FZs are still being made, and the new ones have no vents and red lettering (just like the Nichicon FP caps).
