Asus G750JW EC (IT8585E) replaced

Hi,
I'm a bit lost here...

I have a G750JW gaming laptop that had shorted EC chip (IT8585E). I have replaced the chip. I have a Vertyanov programmer but no pin reference for this model. Anyways I understand that is is self programmed by the PCH on these models.

When I apply power, the power light turns ON instantly and no fan for about 45 seconds. (About the time it takes to program the EC chip). Then, FANS come full-on, except the CPU fan speed oscillated (kind of ON-OFF-ON-OFF..) at 1Hz period.

The computer does not boot.

Anybody has seen that?

The EC should be reprogrammed automatically.
How did it happen (short)? Was the IT8585E new?
Reprogram bios.

No idea why the IT8585E had shorted in the first place. I replaced it with a new one. I no longer have the initial short circuit, confirming that (at least) the 8585 was bad.

I would like to verify if the chip is being programmed but I do not have the pin assignment (KB connector to EC signals) for this motherboard.

Have you solve the problem? I am having the same problem. Some said IT8585 does not need to program. EC is in the bios?

Ec no need programming in this case, only bios but after you have programmed the bios with a dump , reset using ftp.exe -greset or remove bios battery and main battery for 3 or 4 minuts
check if the vbios with mmtools it's good for your videocard

Please someone can help me about ASUS ROG G750jw motherboard?
there is one part with 6 pins under the power button board.
It is on the mainboard. it is burnt, so I cannot see the part number to change it.
help me please.

I had same problem, but it was another part that shorted EC (IT8585E), it is under power board, but I cannot get part number.
