Hi, quick question - is it worth getting a cracked non-warranty screen repaired/replaced?

I'd dare say it's worth it, but you should do it yourself. That is, if you can source the screen from somewhere...

I agree. Unless you can do the work yourself and are able to locate a replacement panel at a reasonable price (shipping alone can get pricey), then it may not be worth repairing.
