    Samsung LN55B650T1FXZA 8 blinks

I haven't opened this one up yet, but when plugged in the red standby light comes on as normal.

When you press the power button, it starts blinking 8 times, with the 8th blink being longer, and then repeats.

I didn't see anything about blink codes in the SM, does anyone know?

I unplugged the main board from the PS board and PS turns on, and back light comes on. 390V at main caps, all other voltages look good. Main board again?

OK, so far your power supply and inverter are OK. Try disconnecting the LVDS cable to the T-CON and see if you get difference blinking LED.

So I got a replacement main board, and I have the same exact problem. So if the power supply is good, there is only 1 more board and that is the t-con. Unplugging that board doesn't make a difference though?!?

Is it possible that this main board needs a signal from the t-con board to work?

Well I had the known main board from the 65" model and the 55" TV will power on, not completely but enough to show the 2nd main board was bad too.

I am not sure if Samsung uses error signal from T-CON or not, try disconnecting the flat cables between the LCD panel and the T-CON board next, otherwise like you indicated, you only have the T-CON to try next.
