    HP LCD 2009F No Power

I have I unit hp 2009f lcd and suddently no power, i diagnose the power board and all capacitor are ok, fuse also ok, and i have no idea where to diagnose next.

hope you all can help me

Re: HP LCD 2009F No Power

    1) Does the power LED light come on at all?

    2) Post clear focused top down view pictures of all your boards following my sig file below EXACTLY?

    3) Here is an example of the picture composition that we want.

If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.

We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.

Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

      1) The LED light off - No power activity

      2) No 1 on the picture is like transistor - A2764A1 927050 cannot find the datasheet

        1) Please post a picture of the main board as well.

        2) On the connector from the power board to the main board, are there any DC voltages present on those colored cables? If yes, list them all with their color or pin number. At least one of them should be 5V DC.

Any DC on that large 450VDC cap? There should be at least 300VDC on that cap.

Re: HP LCD 2009F No Power

                1) My guess is that the small capacitor to the left (as per your upside down picture) of D852 is the startup capacitor.

                a) What is the uF and V of that cap?
                b) What is the DC voltage across the cap?

                2) My guess is that the SMPS IC sits on that little vertical board just north of the startup cap. It might be a 8 pin IC.

                a) If so, what is the part number of that IC?

                    2) What is the DC voltage at pin 8 using pin 4 as GND?

                    3) What is the DC voltage at pin 6 using pin 4 as GND?

                    4) What is the resistance of R852?
                    a) What markings are on that component?

My monitor also could not power ON 2 days ago. Yesterday, I managed to confirm Power Transistor A2764A1 abnormal. However, could not find datasheet for this part.

Sometimes these are as easy as replacing the main fuse on the power board.
With power off, check the main fuse with the ohm setting. It should have very low ohms if its good.
If the fuse is good you need to check for voltage at big filter cap. With power on ****Be careful*** you check for DC voltage on the 2 legs of that big main capacitor. I like to steady my elbows on the bench so the probes don't slip. It should have a very high voltage. 300+ volts DC.
