Just finished repairing and testing Gigabyte GA-8IE533, now I have another one. It's the board in the title. It wasn't posting when the customer brought it in. The caps were as follows:
2x OST RLX 3300uF 6.3v (Replaced with Panny FJ)
6x Chemi-con KZJ 1000uF 16v (Replaced with Panny FL)
6x OST RLX 1000uF 6.3v (Replaced with Panny FJ)
9x Cheapo Teapo SZ 470uF 16v (Replaced with Sanyo WG, filled 2 blanks)
5x 4v 608uF Polymer caps. No idea what brand/series (left in place)
None of them were showing any visual signs of failure, but OST and cheapo teapo are notorious for failing without bulging so I re-capped it anyway. I replaced the KZJ as they use the same electrolyte as the problematic KZG. After the re-cap, it now posts fine and I am currently installing windows. Will run Prime95 and post the results
