Fixing a lamp, I have a strange light bulb socket, at least strange to me.
It's a 3 way but not to a 3 way bulb. Way one, primary bulb on. Way two, second base bulb lights up but not primary. Way three, all off.
It needs to fit standard (1/4"?) lamp post pole threading and take an E27 bulb. Am I just not using the right search terms? This is replacing a failed (worn out and severely corroded) socket that does not have more than a two way bulb contacts in the socket.
