Then? It's only been about a month! lol
C'mon Bill, you aren't going senile on me, are ya?
Seriously, though, thanks for the help. I'll be glad to recap (no pun intended) any details that may have slipped your mind since we talked last.
I'll try to get some time this evening to test out the pins and report back.
What voltage should I be looking for on pin 3?
5v like pin 5 or something else?

    Thanks again,
    Mike

Yes, I am. Sometimes in the middle of a sentence I forget what

I don't have the schematic for this inverter, but one is power, the other is Enable. Both should be above 3 volts, Vcc (pin 5) should be at 5V.

For a number of reasons, both health and personal, I will no longer be active on this board. Any PMs asking for assistance will be ignored.

        Hahaha good one!
I'll check the voltages asap, probably tomorrow afternoon when I get home.
Do I need to plug everything back into the board or just certain things?
I assume I need to plug in the cable that connects to the front panel switches, but what about the HV cables to the lamps, do those need to be connected also?
        Thanks,
        Mike

Okay, finally got home long enough to test it out.
          Pin 3 reads 4.82v
          Pin 5 reads 4.89v
Oh, and the backlight is lit.....wait, what?
It appears that the problem was just a sketchy connection of the inverter wires to the lamps.
          Huh, go figure!
Well, I guess it's fixed for now.
          Thanks for the help Bill.
I'll be sure to post back if anything else pops up.
