    Hanns.G HG281 Component Identity

Hi can anyone identify the U7 semiconductor on the lower RHS of the graphics / interface board in a Hanns.G HG281 monitor it has the following markings on it. ( see photo )

    Logo CA
    84-33
    0713BL

This part runs very hot and the display content disappears when hot. I guess it could be a V reg IC or Mosfet PWR transistor.

    Thanks in advance.

Might be a 1084-33 voltage regulator. The "33" indicates 3.3V output. Match the data sheet pinouts against your measurements.

      Hi,

Have you recapped ALL the capacitors on the power board as well as the graphics board?

Just to share that i encountered the identical monitor having image going off (blank screen) randomly with solid blue Power LED after warming up (30min-1hour). Recapped the Power board and it still behaves the same way. After only i recapped ALL the capacitors on the graphic/main board that the problem went away.
