I am trying to fix a Samsung UN60H7150 for a friend and need some help. The red standby led comes on as soon as the tv is pluggned in and it blinks after few seconds. TV does not seem to respond to power on either from remote or from the button on the unit. The red led double blinks 5 times and then stops blinking for few seconds and then double blinks again for 5 times and so on.
The DCV readings on the power board seem right. I was only able to take reading on the odd pin numbers and they all have 13V so I assuming PS_ON is working.
1 - NC - 0V
3 - PWM-DIM3 - 0V
5 - GND - 0V
7 - A13V - 12.8V
9 - A13V - 12.8V
11 - A13V - 12.8V
13 - A13V - 12.8V
15 - A13V - 12.8V
17 - GND - 0V
19 - Vamp - 12.8V
21 - Vamp - 12.8V
Removing cable between main and power board forces the back light to come on and stay on so it looks like the power board is fine (?).
I have tried disconnecting WiFi/BT modules and speakers to rule out short circuit in them but it did not help. Also tried disconnecting T-CON and LED back lights but that did not help either. I had a on/off button from another Samsung 60" TV that I tried using but still no luck. Since the blinking happens even when the T-CON is disconnected, is it safe to assume it is the main board? Main board for this TV are expensive so wanted to confirm before buying it.
Anyone has access to service manual? Thank you for your help.
