Did you use Panasonic FR caps for the 5VSB output? Flyback topologies like the 5VSB tend to make lots of whining noise when used with very low ESR caps. It doesn't hurt them, but they tend to whine.
Also, does the PSU have APFC? If yes, what is the brand of the primary capacitor(s)? Non-Japanese brands tend to fail a lot on APFC circuit, so that is something definitely to look out for.
