weird help needed

    weird help needed

    I need help finding a part number for this tiny break-beam sensor.
    I joined pictures with dimensions. sorry for the bad quality but what im trying to fix is my actual camera hehe. you can see one side is broken off and gone.

    basically, they are roughly 100mil by 65mil. Post your suggestion on what they could also be called.

        What make/model are you repairing?

        I can't make out much from those pics. Trying to imagine it not busted into two pieces. Did find things like this pic

        PS Quebec is on the Metric system, all dimensions I found are Metric

          yeah, thats what it is on your picture. thats how it should look

          It's usually used in conjunction with an encoder wheel .

          I posted in imperial because thought people were more used to it on here..
          The dimensions are 2.5mm by 1.5 mm

            ah ! they are not in optoelectronic but in sensors on digikey. I digging in there, I may find the right one

                They are not advailable under 12 000 quantity on digikey and mouser has them in backorder.

                Nothing on ebay .

                Do you guys have other such places to order from ?

                  email sharp .. if they are as nice as other companies they will send some out to you free of charge .. i like to ring them on the phone rather than email .. worth a shot either way ..

                    These two repairs where found with a ESR meter...> Temp at 50*F then at 90*F the ESR reading more than 10%

                    1 Over Head Crane Current Sensing Board ( VFD Failure Five Years Later )
                    2 Hem Saw Computer Stack Board

                    All of these had CAPs POOF
                    All of the mosfet that are taken out by bad caps
