Great - wish I hadnt asked!! On the second transformer just measure the ones that T1 has a voltage ie not o or 1

Voltages are terrible - was there no clue as to what they should be Pson Dim Bl 5v 12v etc If there are can you edit your post and put those descriptions in.

What are the part numbers on these components.


I think the next step would have to be changing out all the caps on the 2 boards.
If you have a 50v 1uf start with that one on the power board.

Can the 50v 1uF be changed with something with bigger resistance ? As I don't have one available to just change it.

Ok First two are Voltage Regulators 7805 is 5v and bao33 is 3.3

I cant find the last one - check again with magnifying glass? Try cleaning it.

I changed the cap and done the tests.

Voltage regulator BAO333 Test:
Pin 1 -> 0.01
Pin 2 -> 0.00
Pin 3 -> 0.01

Voltage regulator 7805C Test:
Pin 1 -> 0.01
Pin 2 -> 0.00
Pin 3 -> 0.01

Voltage regulator 26AJ Test:
Pin 1 -> 0.01
Pin 2 -> 0.01
Pin 3 -> 0.01
Pin 4 -> 0.01

Note: That I did check it with a magnifying glass and it was correct.

Hmm I think you have measured the wrong connector It only has 7 pins.

Ok so I tested the connectors from the back of the board as I didn't manage to remove the connector.

POWER ON, VDC200:

Pin 1 -> 0.01
Pin 2 -> 0.02
Pin 3 -> 0.02
Pin 4 -> 0.01
Pin 5 -> 0.02
Pin 6 -> 0.01
Pin 7 -> 0.02

POWER ON, VDC20:

Pin 1 -> 2.76
Pin 2 -> 3.9
Pin 3 -> 3.46
Pin 4 -> 3.58
Pin 5 -> 4.41
Pin 6 -> 4.15
Pin 7 -> 2.89

Please note that these are not still readings, they go up and down but this I noted the highest reading

The tests were with meter on VDC200.

Here is an interesting thread - your Fet whilst not yellowed has a lot of glue on it - clean it off remove test and replace. See also the hairdryer trick - warm those 6 capxon caps
and A) see if it comes on and B) retest the voltages. Next would be assume the caps are bad and replace. This is often the first thing to do wwith Capxon.
