    Bad caps on logic board

    Hello folks
    I have acquired 10 none working hp Planar Pl1700 monitors, so far I repaired 5 monitors all with bulging caps on power supply. But I noticed allot of the caps on logic boards tested out of specs from 2.00 ohms to 4.50 ohms, caps are 220uf 16v 85c Lelons after repairing 5 of the 10 monitors with out replacing caps on logic board all 5 work fine no odd symptoms.

    What would the symptoms be with high esr caps on logic board since ccfl are bad. I tested with good ccfl all light up.

    On the nest 5 monitors should I us 85c caps or 105c

    What I see when I have bad caps on the logic board which the caps are used by the LDO, the symptom I see is: noise and line noise on the screen, BL_ON goes off when I use native resolution but OK on lower resolution. Bad DC can cause a lot of non-repeatable symptom.
